The US Bank Travel Rewards credit card offers only one point for every dollar spent, with a limit and expiration on points.

There’s a $55 annual program fee and your APR could be as high as 20.24%.

There are much better rewards cards that have no expiration or limit.

Overview:

This credit card earns one point for every dollar you spend, with a limit of 120,000 points per year that expire 5 years from the date they’re earned.

You receive a bonus of 2,500 upon approval that can be instantly redeemed for a statement credit.

Other rewards include airline tickets, merchandise and gift cards.

How This Card Works:

With the US Bank Travel Rewards credit card you earn one point for every dollar in purchases, up to 120,000 per year. You can then exchange your points for airline tickets, merchandise, or gift certificates.

You’ll receive 2,500 bonus points upon approval. Once you reach 5,000 points you can redeem for merchandise and gift cards or wait until you have 25,000 and redeem for a roundtrip ticket within the contiguous United States.

With 2,500 points you can get a rebate in the form of a credit on your statement.

Your reward points will expire 5 years from the date you earn them.

This card also comes with online account management, allowing you to view up to 18 of the most recent statements and pay your
bill online.

Travel and Shopping Benefits:

The US Bank Travel Rewards credit card comes with many travel benefits, including automatic auto rental insurance and travel accident insurance up to $500,000.

The US Bank Travel Rewards credit card also has zero liability for you in the case of fraud or a stolen credit card.

Fees:

For the first 6 months you’ll have a 0% APR on purchases and balance transfers. After this, your APR will vary between 7.24% and 20.24% based on your credit.

Cash advances are subject to a 20.99% APR.

The default rate is 27.24%.

The grace period will be 20-25 days for purchases only.

The transaction fee for balance transfers is 3%, minimum $5. For cash advances, a transaction fee of 4%, minimum $10 applies.

Late fees are $19 for balances up to $100, $29 for balances from $100 to $250, and $39 for balances over $250.

The over the limit fee is $39. The annual program fee for the US Bank Travel Rewards credit card is $55.
