How This Card Works: You’ll earn rewards points with every purchase you charge on your SunTrust Visa Signature Card. You can then redeem these points for gift cards, cash-back bonuses, sporting goods, home accessories, airline miles and electronics.

Travel and Shopping Benefits: You’ll earn one SunTrust Point for every dollar you charge wiht your SunTrust Visa Signature Card. If you have a SunTrust checking account and check card, you’ll earn an additional SunTrust Point for every $4 of purchases that you make with your check card. SunTrust allows you to combine your check card and credit card points, something that allows you to build up your rewards points at a quicker rate.

Fees: The purchase interest rate on this card depends largely on your credit score. If your score is low enough, you can qualify for a purchase interest rate of 11.99 percent. The card also comes with a 0 percent introductory interest rate for all balance transfers. This introductory rate remains in place for 12 months. There is no annual fee. Cash-advance fees cost $10 or 3 percent of the advance amount, whichever is higher, while late fees run as high as $39.
