Verdict: They’re Major League Baseball’s defending champions. They’re also the franchise that gave baseball fans Willie Mays, Willie McCovey and Juan Marichal. Yes, you’re a die-hard San Francisco Giants fan, and you want the world to know it. Here’s your chance: the San Francisco Giants MLB Extra Bases Credit Card. This card comes complete with the Giants logo on its front. It also provides you with rewards points with every purchase that you make with it.

Overview: Bank of America has teamed up with Major League Baseball to offer 30 MLB Extra Bases Credit Cards, one for each Major League team. The cards all come with identical rewards programs, fees and interest rates. The only difference? Each card features a different team’s logo on its front.

How This Card Works: You’ll earn rewards points with every purchase that you make with the San Francisco Giants MLB Extra Bases Credit Card. You can then redeem these points for a wide range of merchandise, much of it baseball-centered. For instance, you can turn your points into invitations to exclusive San Francisco Giants team events. You can use your points to buy Giants sweatshirts, jerseys and hats. You can even turn your points into airfare if you’d like to fly to Giants’ Spring Training games.

Travel and Shopping Benefits: Every time you make a purchase with the San Francisco Giants MLB Extra Bases Credit Card, you’ll earn one rewards point for every dollar that you spend. The card also comes with a generous 0 percent interest rate offer on all new purchases for the first 12 months after you activate your account.

Fees: The purchase interest rate attached to this card can be reasonable, as long as you have a solid credit score. The rate ranges from 12.99 percent to 20.99 percent depending on how high your three-digit score is. Cash advances cost $10 or 4 percent of the advance amount, whichever is higher. Returned-payment fees run as high as $25, while late-payment fees can hit $35, depending on your card balance. This card comes with no annual fee, a nice bonus.

Pros:

  • No annual fee.
  • Purchase interest rate can be as low as 12.99 percent.
  • Rewards points for every dollar that you charge.

Cons:

  • Purchase interest rate can run as high as 20.99 percent if your credit score is low.
