The card features a fixed APR of 10.99%, along with a generous credit limit and a range of shopping and travel benefits. This credit card also has low fees and no-fee balance transfers and cash advances. Overall, this credit card is a good fit for consumers who want a credit card that costs nothing for emergencies, to finance large purchases or for transferring balances from high interest credit cards. Despite not having a rewards program, this credit card is a good offering from Langley Credit Union.

Among the credit cards offered is the Langley Gold Mastercard, which is designed for consumers with good to excellent credit that want a straightforward card for emergencies. This credit card has a generous credit limit, a low fixed APR and good travel and shopping benefits. While there is no rewards program, this card is a good choice for many consumers who want a card that is free to carry for emergencies or for infrequent purchases.

How These Cards Work: This credit card is accepted worldwide through the Mastercard network and has a full 25-day grace period. To avoid interest charges, cardholders must pay their balance in full before the due date each month. The Langley Gold Mastercard is designed for consumers with great credit and features a credit limit up to $20,000. Cardholders have online access to their account through Langley’s online service, where they may check balances, make transfers, review transactions and more.

There is no fee for balance transfers or cash advances, either. The fee for foreign transactions is 1%. Late payments are charged 5% of the past due amount if payment is more than 15 days late. The over the limit fee is $10 and the returned check fee is $25. The card reissue is $5, although a second occurrence in 12 months will be charged $25. The unreturned card fee of $25 may be charged if the cardholder fails to return the credit card upon request after delinquency or going over the limit. There are no other hidden costs or fees to the credit card.
