Verdict: The L.L. Bean Visa Credit Card has a good rewards program for a store card, allowing you to earn 3% back on L.L. Bean purchases and 0.5% back on all other purchases. Although I never recommend carrying a balance if you have good credit the APR for this card is fairly low.

Important: The L.L. Bean Visa is decent for a store card and allows you to earn 3% back on L.L. Bean purchases, However – The Discover More Card allows you to earn 5% cash back on L.L Bean Purchases through their online portal ShopDiscover. I highly recommend going with the Discover More card because you also earn 5% back on gas, groceries and at restaurants as well as on other rotating categories such as home improvement.

You can read our full review of the Discover More Card here.

How this card works: The L.L Bean Visa Card allows you to earn rewards for shopping at L.L Bean as well on all other purchases that you make with the card. You then earn coupons which can be redeemed in $10 increments.

Fees: This card has no annual fee.

Rewards: The L.L. Bean card actually has a decent rewards program allowing you to earn 3% back on all purchases through L.L Bean and then 0.5% on everything else. You can then redeem the points you earn for $10 coupons that you can use with your next purchase. Unlike some store credit cards, there is no minimum purchase required to use the $10 coupons meaning that you aren’t required to spend more money to redeem your rewards. You also get free shipping and return shipping with your L.L. Bean Visa.

Pros:

  • No Annual Fee.
  • 3% Back on L.L Bean Purchases.
  • Low APR for People With Good Credit.

Cons:

  • The 0.5% back you earn on all other purchases is fairly low.
