Overview:
The Continental Airlines World Mastercard earns miles on all purchases, up to 2 points per $1. You also get bonus passes and discount certificates every year. When you sign up for the Continental Airlines World Mastercard you get bonus miles up to 25,000. Miles never expire and there is no limit to how many miles you can earn.

How This Card Works:
This credit card is good anywhere Mastercards are accepted. You earn 1 point per $1 you spend on anything, and 2 points per $1 you spend with Continental Airlines. When you make your first purchase with the card you get a bonus 20,000 miles and another 5,000 when you add an authorized user. You also get your first bag checked for free on all flights with Continental. You earn twice the miles when you make ShopOnePass purchases and get Business First class tickets 2 for 1 when you purchase international tickets. You also get 2 travel discount certificates and 2 passes to the Presidential Club every year on your cardholder anniversary.

Shopping and Travel Benefits:
Earn 20,000 bonus miles when you make your first purchase and an additional 5,000 miles when you add an authorized user–enough for a roundtrip flight! Primary cardholders also get their first back checked for free. You earn twice the miles on all ShopOnePass purchases, and BusinessFirst 2 for 1 when you purchase international tickets. You also get 2 Presidential Club passes and 2 Travel Discount Certificates every year on your cardmember anniversary. You earn 1 mile for every dollar spent with your Continental Airlines World Mastercard and 2 points per dollar charged with Continental Airlines. Your miles never expire and there’s no limit to how many you can earn. There is also no pre-set spending limit on your card, no fraud liability, MasterRental insurance coverage, and emergency cash.

Fees:
The APR for the Continental Airlines World Mastercard is a variable 13.24% that applies to purchases and balance transfers. Cash advances are subject to a 19.24% APR. The overdraft advance APR is 19.24% and the default APR is 29.99%. The grace period is at least 20 days. The annual fee for this Mastercard is $85.00. Transaction fees for balance transfers is 3%, not less than $5. For cash advances, 3% will be charged, not to be less than $10. Late fees are $15 for balances up to $99.99, $29 on balances between $100 and $249.99, and $39 on balances over $250. The over the credit limit fee is $39 for platinum cardholders. There is no over the credit limit fee for World cardholders.
