Update: The Citi Forward was one of the best rewards programs around, earning 5 ThankYou points per dollar at book stores, theaters, fast food and restaurants. The Forward card and the student version were discontinued in 2014. If you’re looking for a rewards card that offers 5x points, check out the Discover it card instead. The it card earns 5% back on rotating categories and 1% back on all other spending with no annual fee. It also has a student version if you’re in college.

The review below is now for reference purposes.
