Verdict: This is an absolutely great rewards card that has no annual fee and earns cash back on every purchase, up to 5%. You even earn cash back on most cash advances. The Citi CashReturns Mastercard even has a host of free insurance and warranty programs.

Overview:
This card gives cash back on all purchases, with bonus cash back offers at over 400 merchants. The money you earn never expires and will automatically be sent to you every time you reach $50. This card also comes with warranty extension programs, retail purchase protection, and accident insurance, all with no annual fee and an APR as low as 9.99%.

How This Card Works:
This card earns 1% cash back on all purchases, up to 5% cash back at certain merchants, cash back on cash advances, and 5 CitiDollars on every balance transfer over $1,500. Also included is accident insurance, car insurance, retail purchase protection, and a warranty extension program. This card also has PayPass, which works for most purchases up to $25. There’s no need to swipe a card or enter a PIN, just press the card against the PassPass console.

Travel and Shopping Benefits:
This card has a multitude of travel and shopping benefits. The Citi CashReturns Mastercard earns 1% cash back on all purchases, 1% cash back on most cash advances, and 5 CitiDollars for every balance transfer over $1,500. You also earn up to 5% cash back when you shop with the Citi Bonus Cash Center, and earn unlimited cash back when you shop at over 400 merchants. You automatically receive a $50 check every time you accumulate the cash back and there is no limit or expiration on the amount you earn.

This card also comes with a 1 year extended warranty program for merchandise you purchase with the card, retail purchase protection against accidental damage or theft up to 90 days after purchase, $0 fraud liability, travel and emergency assistance, automatic travel accident insurance covering you, your spouse, and children up to $1 million of Common Carrier Travel Accident Insurance, and auto rental insurance.

The Citi CashReturns Mastercard also has the convienence of PayPass for most purchases up to $25.

Fees:
The Citi CashReturns has a 0% APR for up to 12 months depending on credit history. After this, the annual APR will vary between 9.99% and 17.99%, also depending on credit. The default rate is 29.99%. The grace period for this mastercard is 20 days, and there is no annual fee. The balance transfer fee is 3% of each transfer, with a $5 minimum. This is also the fee for cash advances. The late fee is $15 for balances up to $100, $29 for balances between $100 and $250, and $39 on balances above $250. The over the limit fee is $39.
