Overview: The Arizona Federal Credit Union offers a single Visa Platinum card to members. Anyone living, working or attending church in Pinal or Maricopa County, Arizona is eligible to join the credit union and apply for this card. The credit card comes with a number of advantages, such as an APR as low as 7.74% for qualifying applicants. How These Cards Work: This Visa card is accepted worldwide using the Visa system and has a 25 day grace period for purchases. To avoid interest charges, cardholders may pay off their purchases in full during this time. The APR ranges between 7.74% and 17.99%, depending on credit. The default APR of 17.99% is triggered when one of the following occurs: a payment that is late by at least 60 days, a returned payment or going over the credit limit. If the penalty APR is incurred due to a late payment, six consecutive on-time payments will lower the APR again. This credit card earns one point for every $1 spent. Points never expire and may be redeemed for travel and merchandise through ScoreCard. The Visa Platinum card also has travel benefits for cardholders, as well as optional insurance.

This credit card comes with 24-hour cardmember services and support, auto rental insurance and emergency cash and card replacements. The ScoreCard rewards allow the cardholder to earn one point for every $1 spent, with rewards beginning at 2,000 points.

Fees: One of the biggest benefits to this credit card is its lack of hidden fees. There is no annual fee for the Visa Platinum card and cardholders may qualify for an APR between 7.74% and 17.99%, which applies to purchases, balance transfers and cash advances. There is absolutely no fee for balance transfers and cash advances, which means cardholders can transfer balances from other credit cards to their Visa Platinum for no charge and enjoy a new, low APR. The default APR for this card is 17.99%. There is no minimum interest charge and no cost to open or maintain the account. Foreign transactions outside of the country of issue are subject to a 3% fee. There is no over-the-limit fee, although late payments and returned payments may result in a fee up to $25.
