Q: I can never keep track of my Discover credit card balance. Where can I check this online?
A: To log in to your account, you can go to www.discovercard.com and fill in your account number and password on the left side of the page, or register for an online account if you have not yet done so. If you have not yet registered, you will need your card information handy. Logging in will bring you to the Account Center, where you can view your “account summary,” including your balance, transactions you have made, and other information. You can also view the amount of your next payment due, and when it is due by.
There are also other tools that may be useful for account owners. Under the “Recent Activity & Statements” tab, you can view your credit card statements. You can access statements that are up to two years old. Other tools include an analysis of your spending, as well as details about how many rewards points or cash back you have earned, if applicable.
