Want to earn a ton of Marriott points on everyday shopping items?
Thanks to a HUGE bonus offer opportunity, now you can!
The Marriott Rewards® Premier Credit Card is now offering you the opportunity to earn up to 150,000 bonus points.
How can you earn all these points? And is there a catch?
The HUGE Bonus Offer
For new cardmembers, you will earn 5 points per $1 spent on ALL spending, up to your first $30,000 of spending.
For big spenders, this can be a bonanza. A bonanza worth up to 150,000 points. (The equivalent of 5 nights at a Category 6 hotel ... which will also enable you to get one additional free night ... so 6 nights in total.)
For us regular folks, we may want to stick with the regular welcome offer of 80,000 pointsafter spending $3,000 in the first 3 months.
Update (March 13, 2017):
Thanks to our reader on Facebook who pointed out that you can get more points by taking advantage of the Marriott-Starwood merger not being complete yet.
For a limited time, you can combine your Starwood and Marriott points, with each SPG point being worth 3 Marriott points. For a limited time both programs still offer new card-memeber welcome offers. And those offers can be combined to one program before you redeem the points.
So, by spending $3,000 on each new card (or a total of $6,000), you will be able to accrue a minimum of 167,000 Marriott points. (This assumes you only earn 1 point for each $1 of spending, plus the two bonus offers.)
Obviously, this is a much better return on your investment.
What You Also Get
To qualify, you will need two things:
First, you will need excellent credit.
Second, you cannot have had this card and have not received a new cardmember bonus for this card in the past 24 months.
