With gasoline prices set to remain high for the forseeable future, many consumers are looking for ways to trim gas costs. One attractive option is being offered by a national gasoline company.
Chevron/Texaco is tempting new customers with a free gasoline offer. Once new cardholders are approved, they will have the opportunity to earn 10 cents in fuel credits per gallon of gas purchased for the first 60 days of thir membership. The maximum fuel credit amount is $300. There’s no annual fee for the card either.
So let’s say that a driver has a length commute to and from work, and that he or she fills up once every three days with an average gas purchase of 12 gallons. With the new Chevron/Texaco card, they could earn a total of $24 in credits – which is almost enough for a free tank of gas.
New cardmembers can also take advantage of the company’s free roadside assitance service program for up to one year.
