Are you a frequent traveler? Do you spend several nights a month in hotels? If so, Best Western Rewards, the frequent-guest rewards program run by national hotel brand Best Western, can save you a significant amount of money.

Through this program, you can earn free hotel stays at Best Western inns across the country. And you can earn these points more quickly by applying for a Best Western Rewards World MasterCard. In fact, this card will provide you with a sizable amount of Best Western rewards points as soon as you make your first purchase.

If you earn enough rewards points, not only can you book free hotel stays, you’ll also be able to earn gift cards, merchandise, car rentals and movie-chain certificates.

Joining the Program: Joining Best Western Rewards is an easy process. Start by clicking on the “Join Now” button on the home page of Best Western Rewards. Once you do this, you’ll be asked to create a username and password that you’ll use to access your account. After you create these, you’ll have to fill out a basic online enrollment form, providing such information as your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address.

Joining the program is free. And filling out the online form doesn’t take long.

Earning Rewards: Once you’re a member, you can immediately start earning Best Western rewards points. You’ll earn points fast by staying at Best Western hotels. Members nab 10 rewards points for every dollar they spend on hotel room rentals.

Members can also earn points in a number of other ways. They can earn points by renting cars from program participant AVIS, by flying on partner Southwest Airlines or by buying flowers from online florists. Other partners include restaurants and retailers.

Members can also points quickly by applying for the Best Western Rewards World MasterCard. In fact, members of Best Western’s rewards program will earn 16,000 points after making their first purchase with this card. They’ll earn an additional 5,000 extra points if they transfer the balance from another credit card to their World MasterCard within the first 30 days of opening their accounts.

Cardholders will also earn 15 rewards points for every dollar that they charge for Best Western purchases, and one point for every dollar that they charge on other purchases.

Redeeming Rewards: Redeeming rewards is also a simple process. After member earn at least 8,000 rewards points, they can redeem for free stays at Best Western hotels. With at least 6,250 points, members can turn their points into free meals at restaurants including Olive Garden, Applebee’s and Chili’s. Members can also redeem points, starting at 6,500, for car rentals and gas cards.
