Verdict: The World of Warcraft credit card is great for the millions of people addicted to the online game. The card earns 1 point per dollar that can be redeemed for online game play.

Overview:
The World of Warcraft Visa card earns points for every dollar spent, which expire in 5 years. The points are redeemed for game time on the online game World of Warcraft. There’s an introductory APR of 0% for 6 months, afterwards which your APR will vary between 13.99% and 17.99%.

How This Card Works:
The World of Warcraft Visa card earns 1 point per dollar that can be used for gameplay online. This is the only credit card that “pays you to play.” With your first purchase you’ll receive one month of World of Warcraft gameplay. There’s an introductory 0% APR of purchases as well as balance transfers for the first 6 months. Every 1,500 points acrued can be redeemed for 1 month of WOW gameplay. Points expire on the fifth anniversary of the date they were awarded.

Travel and Shopping Benefits:
Your World of Warcraft Visa card earns one point per dollar, which are redeemed for online gameplay. Every 1,500 points earned is equal to one month’s worth of play time. Points expire after 5 years. With your first purchase you receive a bonus of 1,500 points (or one month’s play time).

Fees:
There’s no annual fee for the World of Warcraft Visa card. You get an introductory APR of 0% on purchases and balance transfers for the first 6 months; afterward, the APR will be either 13.99%, 15.99%, or 17.99%, depending on review of your credit history. The default rate can be as high as 27.99%. The grace period is at least 20 days. The transaction fee for cash advances is the greater of $15 or 3%, and for balance transfers the greater of $10 or 3%. The over the limit fee is $39. Late payment fees are $35 for balances less than $500 and $39 for balances greater than $500.
