My credit card application was denied even though my credit score is well over 700. I've always had a job, and already have a card with an uninterrupted history of over six years of on-time payments since the day I got it. And to top it off, the bank I applied to was the one I've had a savings account with for 15 years. The reason they gave for denying me was "Account related expenses exceed expected revenue". WTF???
