Verdict: The Old Navy Credit card has a competitive rewards program for a store card, however it has a very high APR. If you avoid carrying a balance (which I always recommend, regardless of what card you have) this card can be good for those who shop frequently at Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic, Piperlime or Athleta.

With that said, I still recommend the Discover More Card over this card because of the fact that it offers 5% cash back on clothing purchases at ANY STORE and also 5% cash back on other popular rotating categories like groceries, home improvement, gas, and more.

Another thing I really like about Discover More is the fact that you can earn 5% cash back from Old Navy all year long by shopping online through the ShopDiscover portal. Instead of getting a store specific card, you will save more money in the end going with a more well rounded card like Discover More, Amex Blue Cash, etc.

How this card works: This credit card allows you to earn 5 rewards points for every dollar you spend at Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic, Piperlime and Athleta. You then earn 1 point for every dollar you spend on all other purchases. The rewards program is pretty basic, however I like the fact that this card earns 5% back at a few other stores as well.

Fees: This card has no annual fee.

Rewards: For every 1,000 points you earn you receive a $10 rewards card that can be used at Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic, Piperlime and Athleta stores. You also get 10% off of your first purchases with the card. You also get free shipping on orders over $100.

Pros:

• Earn 5 Points for every dollar you spend at Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic, Piperlime and Athleta.
• 10% off your first purchase.
• Earn 1 Point for every dollar you spend on all other purchases.
• No Annual Fee.

Cons:

• Very High APR
• Like most store cards, this card really doesn’t have any other perks or benefits other than the rewards program.
