Capital One is another popular credit card issuer, and one that offers some great cards for people with average to good credit. Here are some popular cards that Capital One currently offers:
- Capital One Orbitz Visa Platinum (Travel Rewards)
- Capital One No Hassle Cash Rewards (Cash Back)
- Capital One No Hassle Miles Rewards (Travel Rewards)
- Capital One Platinum Prestige Card (Balance Transfers)
The Capital One Orbitz Visa Platinum is a travel rewards card targeted at people who book their flights and vacations through Orbitz. With this card you can earn 3 points for every dollar spent on Orbitz.com bookings, as well as 1 point per dollar on all other purchases. The fliexable rewards program offered by Capital One allows you to then redeem points for cash back, travel rewards and gift cards.
No Hassle Miles Rewards is another travel rewards card offered by Capital One, however with this card you can earn 1.25 miles for every dollar spent on all purchases. For most people this is actually a better card than the Orbitz card because you earn miles 25% faster on everyday purchases. This card also has a very flexible rewards program that lets you redeem miles for airline tickets, cash back, and gift cards.
Below I’ve included the miles needed to get a free airline ticket with the No Hassle Miles Rewards card.
- 15,000 miles Saver (tickets up to $150)
- 35,000 miles Standard (tickets from $150.01–$350)
- 60,000 miles Super (tickets from $350.01–$600)
The Capital One Platinum Prestige Card is a balance transfer credit card for people with excellent credit. This card allows you to transfer balances of existing cards, and pay 0% APR through December 2010. With this card there is a balance transfer fee of 3%, however this card has no annual fee
