The Delta Reserve Credit Card by American Express starts by giving all cardholders a free checked bag on every flight, which is currently a $25 value. Plus, each member gets a free First-Class companion certificate every year.
In addition, card members receive 10,000 Medallion Qualification Miles when they make their first charge on the card. Though MQMs are not redeemable for flights, gifts, or cash, they do count toward a flier’s Medallion status.
If during any calendar year, a card member spends $30,000 on the card, he or she will receive a distribution of 15,000 bonus miles (which are redeemable) and 15,000 MQMs. Members are eligible for another such distribution if they reach $60,000 in charges during that time.
