Citi is now offering a $200 bonus with the Citi® Diamond Preferred® Card. To claim your $200 statement credit, you have to make $500 in purchases with the card during the first three months. After the initial $500 threshold is reached, you’ll receive a $200 statement credit. Effectively, the next $200 that you spend is paid for by Citi.

It is important to note that this card works with Google Wallet. So, if you are pumped up about tapping your phone to pay for items, this card will work with it.

In terms of APRs, this card has an excellent offer of 18 months at 0 percent interest on purchases and balance transfers. If you are looking for a balance transfer card, then this is one to look at closely. However, note that there is a fee to do so of $5 or 3 percent, whichever is higher.

Other than the $200 statement credit, this card doesn’t have a rewards program, as it is primarily a low interest, and balance transfer card. There are no cash-back or points rewards offered with each dollar spent. It does offer some of the standard features that are offered on other cards, such as auto rental insurance and purchase protection, but that is about it.

Although this is not a rewards card, it is a solid card for balance transfers and a quick way to earn a $200 bonus that can help you pay down an existing balance even faster.
