If you have good credit you have access to a much wider variety of cards than those with limited to no credit history. Almost all AMEX and Discover Cards (with the exception of the student cards) require good to excellent credit. Credit Cards for those with good credit generally have lower APRs (Although we recommend that you don’t carry a balance) and most important better rewards programs.

The Discover® More® Card is the best cash back credit card for those with good to excellent credit. This card offers 5% cash back on everyday purchases like gas, groceries, on travel expenses and at restaurants. You then earn 1% cash back on all other purchases. Another great feature of this card (and most Discover Cards) is ShopDiscover which is an “online mall” that allows you to earn up to 20% cash back shopping online at your favorite retailers.

Blue Cash® from American Express is another great cash back credit card for people with good to excellent credit. This card, like Discover More allows you to earn up to 5% back on supermarket, gas station and drug store purchases and 0.5% back on all other purchases.

If you’re a big spender this card may be superior than Discover More however because if you spend over $6,500 you then earn 1.5% cash back on all other purchases (compared to 1% with Discover More). This one one of the best cash back credit cards out there, assuming you spend over $6,500 to boost your cash back rewards up to 1.5%.

Escape by Discover® is the best travel credit card for those with good credit and is well worth the $60 annual fee.

With this card you can earn 2 miles for every dollar you spend. You then earn 2 additional miles (for a total of 4 per $1) in the ShopDiscover.com store. For the first 25 months, you’ll get an extra 1,000 miles each month you make a purchase. You can redeem the miles for travel credits, gift cards or cash, and can book travel through any airline, travel agent, or travel website.

The card offers a 0% intro APR on purchases and balance transfers for 6 months, and a fair 11.99 % variable APR after that (dependent on credit history).
